20th Anniversary of Dai-Ichi Shotokan Karate-Do Association's Summer Training Camp (July 9th through July 14th). Please see photos below:
Training Camp was a great experience which we will not forget (the hospitality, humility, respect, courtesy, camaraderie, training, selflessness, spirituality). Sempai Barrett gave the official welcome at the Welcome Reception on July 9th. We trained at the Galveston Beach and in the Hotel Ballroom on July 10th. We trained at the Park and in the Hotel Ballroom on July 11th. We trained in the field behind Hanshi Johns' beautiful new Dojo and in the Hotel Ballroom on July 12th. We trained in the Hotel Ballroom on July 13th. The Banquet was on Saturday July 14th. (Mr. Jasiri Anderson was there. Thanks so much for sharing the Houston experience with us!). We returned to New Jersey on July 15th. More photos will follow... Special thanks goes to Ms. Dickinson and Ms. Chioma for traveling with us to Houston. Thank you so much for your assistance.
