Gone Fishing on 5/20/07
What a great day for fishing! Our Tigers went to New York with Shihan Barrett and Sempai Barrett. They had a great time. Aynasia, Darius and Aaron went deep sea fishing for the first time. They all did well. We will be planning another fishing trip soon (hopefully, with the entire SKC group).
Arnold Classics (The Arnold Games in Columbus, Ohio) On Friday, March 2nd, we traveled to Columbus,Ohio by bus with Shihan Jackie and New York Dai-Ichi. On Saturday, March 3rd, we attended the Karate Championship Tournament at The Arnold Classics. It was indeed an honor to be able to participate in such an amazing event, along with our fellow Yudanshas. We would like to commend Hanshi Ricardo Johns for literally manning the Karate Tournament. Dai-Ichi was at its best. Kudos to Hanshi and all who took part in making the event such a tremendous success.
Testing (March 5th - March 10th) Our students worked very hard last week. Last Saturday was "board breaking day". It was an awesome event. Our students demonstrated that, following directions and believing in what they were doing, they could achieve the task of breaking boards. We also had parental involvement. All I have to say is: "You had to be there...". What a great day it was! Upcoming Testing (June 4th - June 9th)
Meeting (Thursday, March 22nd) - PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS Please make every effort to be present as this is an extremely important meeting. All parents/guardians are required to attend. We have several issues to address.
